Thursday Night Men’s League

Congratulations to our Bunker League Champion

Krister Hampton

Our Championship night began with the top 8 players bracketed off for some 9 hole match play starting on the front 9 of Firestone CC. Cliff McDaniel advanced over Randy Hodges, Ted Baker edged out Mark Lodge, Barry Brockwell beat Gary Stephens, and Krister Hampton defeated Jim Moser. The Final four then moved to the back 9, where Krister defeated Barry and Cliff McDaniel held off Ted Baker in extra holes. This set up the final match at Pinehurst #2, where for the championship all players had to physically putt all putts inside 15’…which served Krister well as he made 4 out 5 during his match to either win or half a hole to defeat Cliff to claim the championship. It was a great few weeks and we look forward to doing it again.
